Moser 9" Gear Selections
Moser 9" Gear Selections I'm about to swap gear ratios in my Moser 9", but have never looked at the different brands / selections out there for anything other than our stock 10 bolts.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as far as brands, what to steer away from, quiet gears, etc.

I used to buy my 9inch gears at cost from the Ford dealer but it has been years since I did that. My best bet for good durable gears that don't wind is to browse thru some 4WD magazines. Another option is to hit Country Bob's (Ficticious name)in your area and pick up a complete third member . I was getting them in my area for about 50 dollars.

Re: Moser 9" Gear Selections Roy, thanks for the tip. I guess my main question is as far as brands, etc. Everyone recommends the GM/Motive gears for stock 10 bolts, but what is the top brand for a 9"? Is there one more known for noise, or strength, etc.?
