Well im getting gears next weekend and not sure weather i should just go with 3.73s or 3.42, the 3.42s will be cheaper since he has some just lying around the shop. but the 3.73s are better in ways but not much, which should I go with???? im planning on a 4k stall and MS4 cam in the near future and want good gears to back it up.

which is more important to you? Efficency on the highway or performance at the track/streets (assuming you've got a safe legal place to perform)?

If the track/streets, maybe the 4.10/4.11 range could be better?
If the highway, gas milage issue, then the lower 3's...

Good luck

I just got 3.42s on and love them. I chose 3.42s over 3.73s because there is very minimal performance gain between the two and my car will be seeing a lot of highway time. I chose according to my situation. If your car is not a DD or doesnt see much highway time you might as well go with 3.73s. I will be taking it to the track next week to get some real numbers.
