BAD SHIFTING STILL Ok let me say that I thought it was the MAF causing the 2-3 shift rev hitting. It still hits the rev. Has anyone had a tranny do this <img border="0" alt="[Banging Head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" /> Could my tranny be bad now. I have 92,600 miles on my 98 Z28..
Re: BAD SHIFTING STILL Mine was doing the same thing. I took it in and was told my transmission was pretty much burned up. Clutch packs, bands, among other stuff. I dont know much about trannys but I was told that my control valve was not sealing correctly and it caused most of the wear. 2000 bucks later I should get my car back monday. I know that is pretty high for a transmission rebuild but I can't complain to much my warrenty <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> paid for most of it ~1500. I would get it checked out it is not that uncommon on cars with as many miles as yours and mine, 77000 not to mention my converter and nitrous, that couldnt have helped <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> .
