26 or 28 spline??
26 or 28 spline?? my car is an 02 a4 camaro. Does my car have a 26 or 28 spline. Reason i asked because i currently have 2.73 rears and i want to go with different gears and differental...something like 3.08 or 3.23. I do now its a 2 series carrier i currently have....will 3.08 work in a 2 series?

question rear diff 02 camaro or firebird is 28 spline axle unit...open, posi, torsen, auburn, Eaton etc.
3.08 is the last ratio before you have to go to 3 series unit.
214-3.08 are all 2 series carrier open or posi 28 or 26 spline
3.23 -4.88 are all 3 series carrier open or posi 28 spline or 26 spline
