Did I break my rear end...??
Well at the track yesterday in 50 degree weather. My very first run was an 11.7@116(I think), so we waited a while before we ran it again. THE second run: The track this time was very sticky, made a big burn out and drove to staging lanes. Stalled at 1500 and floored it with my ET Streets, The car had NEVER hooked the way it did, but then BOOM, and at first I thought my motor blew but it was still on... The car Reverses, but wont do anything in drive.
or maybe the gears?? Why would the tranny go out?? I dont think it could be the tranny...
Oh my mods: HHP3, Motive 3:73's, 160 Stat, MSD wires/NGk TR6's, SLP lid/Filter, Vig 3200, Macs with ORP, 3" cutout, Flowmaster Muffler, Ported TB, Descreened MAF, FRAM, Hughes Transmission Pan, MT ET Streets, and 125 shot of Nitrous

The same thing happened to me, although I just run 12.80s. Turns out my torsen unit shattered (I visually inspected it) and I broke the rear sprag (I am told). I could still use 1st and second, but not 3rd nor 4th. Reverse still worked. My trans is being rebuilt as we speak with beefier parts. I was cutting mid 1.7 60'. That run, the track was very sticky (two 9 second first genners went right before me, leaving fat wide patches of rubber ), I could have gotten a 1.699 60'.
