rear end fluid

Use 85W-140 "Dino" oil, no synthetic for Eaton, or Zexel-Torson clutch type posi, they claim that the sythetic fluid will scorch the clutch plates.
You can use "Synthetic" gear oil again 85W-140 with the Auburn unit, or any other spring posi.
Also add 4 oz. of limited slip lube GM # 1052358.
The reasoning they gave me for the use of thicker oil, is that the molicules of the thicker oil, are denser, and disapate heat much better than the 75W-90 weight GM recommends.
Hope this helps you out in some way.
