3.73 bend/crack frame?

3.73 bend/crack frame?

I was todl that my 3.73 posi can crack or bend my frame. Is this true?

ive had 3.73's on mine since i bought it...the shop i bought the car from had it into the high 10's...the car is not bent or tweaked...if you are really worried about it...get some subframe connectors...

so noone gets the wrong idea...the car isnt in the 10's anymore...they put most of the stock stuff back in before they sold it...

Well when i heard that it can bend the frame it freaked me out. But i REALLY dont want to take it out. How long has the 3.73 been in that car?

ive had my car almost 2 years...it was in it when the shop was using it...i dont know when oklahoma highway patrol decommisioned the car but i can almost bet that its been in the car since 04

So if 3.73s "could bend the frame" then what kind of carnage would 4.10s do? Has anyone ever heard of 4.10s bending the frame? And the 4th gen fbodys are on a unibody system, so there is no frame. So its gonna bend the unibody? I doubt that. I have heard of little dents going into the quarter panels from the car naturally moving under acceleration, which could also be cured with a set of subframes.
