Default Driveshaft?

How do some people have luck just changing the u-joint on the stock driveshaft and not have problems? I couldn't even get the stock driveshaft close to fitting, I'd say maybe an inch to long.

How do I go about finding exactly how long of a driveshaft I need? If I call a shop, what are they going to need to know. I got the moser in, just need to get the driveshaft made.

Jack the rear suspension back up into the car, as that is most likely the problem. Check out what happened to this stock driveshaft, as you may want to consider upgrading to a stronger one. https://ls1tech.com/forums/gears-axles/767930-1le-driveshaft-snapped-145-carnage-inside.html Bob
