Question about driveshafts

Is there anything inside a driveshaft that can come loose and cause vibrations?? I am trying to track down a vibration that seems to come and go. TIA.

I beleive that some if not all came with a lil weight welded to it. I would look at U joints or trans mounts or tire balancing.

New poly trans mount. Tires are new/balanced. Replaced the rear tranny seal and when I had the driveshaft out, it seemed as though there was something sliding around inside the driveshaft. Got interupted while putting everything back together and thought no more about it. Just dawned on me today that I never figured out what that was. With the vibration coming and going, I was thinking it was missing, installed heads/cam, headers and off-road y-pipe. I do have the u-joints, so I will probably go ahead and change them out.

I know about the weight on the OUTSIDE of the driveshaft, it is still there. But my question is still is there anything INSIDE the driveshaft that could come loose?
