Or do it right... and use a quality 75-90 or 85-140.
True Trac's do not require any friction modifier as an additive or blended into the base lubericant. Nor would I even consider a full synthetic... unless you plan on changing it every six months.

I always hear don't use synthetic in the rear of a Trutrac . BUt no gear or differential company has been able to give a logical reason why.
I have been running a fully synthetic GL5 gear oil in my T2, D-Locker(since 2000), and Trutrac(since 2007)with no problems on roadcourses.

The inner wheel does not make as many revolutions as the outer wheel, so it need to turn fewer revolutions. With a spool it has no choice but to turn the same amount of revolutions, so it tends to wheel hop slightly. Keep in mind this would only happen in very sharp turns. Bob
