Driveshaft question
Driveshaft question Im looking into buying a strange 12 bolt for my car within the next month or so, hopefully i will have enough money saved up by then, but i was wondering what size driveshaft i will need if the stock one will not fit, my future plans for the car are to put a 125 wet shot on it so will i have to update to a stronger driveshaft?
Stock size drive shaft will work. I upgraded mine when I bought my Strange 12 bolt. I went with a Strange DOM Chrome-Moly drive shaft. http://www.sjmmanufacturing.com/cam_...ml#Driveshafts
No shortening. When I placed the order for my rear I asked if I needed a different size and was told that the stock size will be fine. The Moser 12 bolt I believe requires a shorter drive shaft, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Just for peace of mind give one of the sponsors that sells Strange 12 bolts a call and check with them.
