Tranny is out of the car, what to replace?
Tranny is out of the car, what to replace? My reverse gear and reverse shift fork is being replaced right now. The shop recommends replacing all the bearing and the synchro right now too. Me and a friend pulled the tranny ourselves and it was a bitch. I am thinking of replacing the clutch/flywheel/slave sylinder now since the tranny is out, even though they dont need to be replaced yet. The car has 62000 miles and its all original. The clutch has never slipped on me, but im sure it will go out sometime. What do you all think I should do?
