Lost 3rd and 4th gear
Lost 3rd and 4th gear I have no idea why I don't have 3rd or 4th. It drives perfectly in 1st and 2nd and reverse. No trans related SES, no noises, just dropped the pan and fluid is red. I'm hoping it's electronics, but don't know where to start. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

- Oil Pump Assy:
1) Faces not flat
2) Pump cover retainer and ball assy ommitted or damaged
- Valve body assy:
1) Valves stuck (2-3 shift valvetrain, accumulator valve, 1-2 shift valve train, 3-2 control valve)
2) Spacer plate or gaskets incorrect, mispositioned or damaged
- 2-4 Servo assy:
1) Incorrect band apply pin
2) missing or damaged servo seals
3) porosity in piston, cover or case
4) Damaged piston seal grooves
5) Plugged or missing orifice cup plug
- Case:
1) 3rd accumulator retainer and ball assy leaking
2) Porosity in 3-4 accumulator piston or bore
3) 3-4 accumulator piston seal or seal grooves damaged
4) Plugged or missing orifice cup plug
5) Restricted oil passage
- 2-4 Band Assy:
1) Worn or misassembled
- Input Housing Assembly (Refer to Slipping 2-3 shift):
1) 3-4 clutch or forward plates worn
2) Excessive clutch plate travel
3) Cut or damaged 3-4 clutch or forward clutch piston seals
4) Porosity in input clutch housing or piston
5) 3-4 clutch piston checkball stuck, damaged or not sealing
6) Restricted apply passages
7) Forward clutch piston retainer and ball assembly not seating
8) Sealing ***** loose or missing
