Reverse Lockout Selenoid question

I've converted my A4 car to an m6. How can I make the reverse lockout work correctly or wire a toggle switch to turn it on and off?

We did a 6 speed swap in a 3rd gen and used a switch on the brake to trigger a relay to unlock it when you step on the brake. It worked for us.

TO clarify....you need 12v and ground on the solenoid on the side of the shifter mount (on the trans case) to unlock it. Dig up a connector, and wire up a relay to apply voltage with your foot on the brake (using a relay and a brake switch). DOn't forget to hook your cruise control switch (from the brake pedal) to the clutch as well, to turn off the cruise if you step on the clutch (if you have cruise). Good luck!
