I have a 99 WS6 w/ 3 channel 10 bolt that needs a new axle shaft. I found a set for a complete set(shaft,bearings,& seals)for a 93-96, but the part numbers are different for LT1 and LS1 cars. My question is would the 93-96 axle shafts work in my 99?

 

Does anyone know the difference in the 93-96 and 98-02 axle shafts? I have talked to parts dept at my local dealer and other shops, seems nobody knows what the difference is. Can anyone tell me??

 

I would also love to know the answer to this as well.
