As far as "building up" a 10 bolt, it really doesn't matter what posi or axles you place inside this rear end. The small gear set is the weak link and there is nothing you can do to improve the strength of that.

I agree with the other member, trash can that rear end and get a 12 bolt, 9" or S60.
the hell out of the car 121k miles on it now im full bolt-ons and the most ive ever had to replace is bearings. Do 10-bolts suck.... No. Can they handle power....No. you can't expect much from a rearend that was ment for a v-6 S-10. And wheel hop can be fixed with proper suspension.
