NO ! The link below is what you referenced/ordered.That set is for a 3 series carrier.Your 2.73s' are sitting on a 2 series carrier.

3 channel and 4 channel is the difference between a TCS setup or no TCS setup on the car, the 3 channel is only ABS, 4 channel is TCS. (think of 3 channel as 3 sensors, one at each front wheel, one in the rearend housing. 4 Channel as 4 sensors, one at each wheel) the 2 series and 3 series is the carrier itself (I don't know the specific differences) but the 2 series ring gear is alittle thicker than the 3 series, you can get a spacer for the 3 series gears to fit a 2 series carrier but with this shim your rearend is weaker than it was stock.

So you have 3 options
1)sell/return those gears and order a set for a "2 series" carrier
2)acquire (either used or upgraded brand new) a 3 series carrier to go with your 3 series gears
3)find a shim for fitting 3 series gears to your 2 series carrier. (highly NOT recommended)

no worries boss, I did the exact same thing when I bought my gears lol. Haven't made a decision yet, they're still packed up in my closet.

yeup, I thought I had 3.23's stock for some reason, that's why I bought my 3 series 3.73's. But in fact they came out to be 2.73's which gave me the 2 series

You can either measure the flange height from a reference point at the carrier bearing journel... or you can simple count the gear teeth and do the math to equate the ratio. The sounting of the teeth method isnt 100% but it will definately get you in the ballpark... because if the ratio doesnt make sense... it better have a ring gear spacer or a thin ring gear on the carrier.

yeah i just sent back the gears to summit and got part number MGR-G875373X. The X on the back on the end signifies that they are for a 2 series carrier. I talked to a guy from motive gears and he highly recommended not using the shim. He said it might be ok. But then i told him that i had a shift kit and Mickey Thompson ET Streets. Then he said hell no.
