Prob with rear end... need HELP!!

Prob with rear end... need HELP!! ok i don't know crap about rear ends, other than the stock 10 bolt is pretty weak...
well tonight i ran my car at the track, i have 4.10 gears btw, and dumbass me missed third gear and went back to first at almost redline... needless to say the car bowed up and skidded down the track several feet.... fortunately it when back into gear after i coasted in N for a min.. and i thought it was ok but i noticed when i got off the gas and was coasting the rear end was making a really bad sound... not really a griding sound, more like a rubbing type sound... my gears had a whine to them normally but now the whine is alot louder and its making that rubbing sound when i'm not on the gas... i guess i could compare the sound to maybe a tire rubbing a fender or something... and the rubbing sound is heard everytime the tires turn over it seems... it runs and shifts fine and when i'm on the gas i dont notice anything but when im off the gas coasting its bad, and the slower i get the louder and more noticable it is..... what the hell have i done? somebody give me some info please....
