New guy here
New guy here Hey everyone whats up, i didnt know what area to make my first post in so i just figured i'd do it here. my name's David and i'm from Arkansas (no jokes please lol)I drive a 2000 Monterey Maroon Metallic Z28 A4 w/all options except leather. only mods so far are K&N FIPK and a Flowmaster cat back system. now i've heard they both suck, so they will probably change soon. I do have a question for you guys though, i've searched your forum and havent found much about the convertor i may get. I can get a great deal on a TCI 3500 super streetfigher? Im thinking of puttin that and a B&M shift kit in the car this weekend. right now im running 11.32 @ 95.82 with a 2.15 60ft (1000 ft times) we dont have a 1/4 in AR. do you guys have any idea what i would run with the stall? BTW i have the 2.73 gears, are these good mods for these gears? any help appreciated

Re: New guy here Some people say that they are happy with 2.73 after a TC. If it was mine, I would definitely put gears in it...at least 3.42, but I like 3.73. I just installed a Yank SS3600 in mine and I love it. It has excellent manners on the street, but when you want to go, it kicks a$$. I dropped .4 tenths in the 1/8th, and my 60' times sucked. Once I get those down, it should be more like .6 tenths. I can't possibly say enough about this converter. It's expensive, but worth every penny.

Re: New guy here Hey David hows it going, Check my sig for my mods. I wish at the time when I bought my TCI stall they had the 3500 out but I got the small one for now and have no complants about it . If you can get it for a good price and its good(not Broken) Get It with 273 that should rock.
