I'd put the car up on jack stands and rotate the rear wheels and also rotate the driveshaft and see if you can find where the noise is coming from. Bob

Is it more of a Klunking noise? If so does the rear seem to shimmy over? If it does your differential is busted. Im assuming its a 10bolt its problly time to upgrade. I got the S60 and its been kickin a$$ for a year now..

^^^ what he said...

pay special attention to the rear u joint. try to move the driveshaft around in the yoke. it shouldn't move much at all.
