What is the Auburn Pro Diff?
What is the Auburn Pro Diff? My rear started making terrible noises yesterday. I am about to pull it apart. I think it's the diff.
A friend locally has an Auburn Pro he will sell me and I am wondering how good it is.
The car is mostly street driven with a few autox and road course events each year.

Re: What is the Auburn Pro Diff? The Pro is a heavy duty (high bias) version of the standard Auburn. I believe it takes 60-70 ft lbs to cause the differential to slip as compared to the standard versions 40-50 lbs.

Re: What is the Auburn Pro Diff? The Pro is great, ran it last year on my nitrous setup without any problems. Switched to a 9" locker this year. I still have the Pro if interested $300 with bearings already pressed on.
