Driveline Noise....Need help

Driveline Noise....Need help I have a cluck on take offs and some shifting. I put the tranny in 1st and lock the parking brake (I have a M6 by the way). I crawled under and moved the driveshaft and looked. It sounds like there is play at the end of the tranny, but I believe that the slip yoke maybe wearing out. It is the stock aluminum driveshaft. I know it is not the rearend because the backlash is set at .008, and I have rechecked it several times. Somedays what I thought was clutch chatters maybe this slip yoke slopping around on takeoffs. Any opinions?

Re: Driveline Noise....Need help I thought it was the xmsn mount, so I replaced it with a polyureathane mount. Didn't seem to help. Could it be my motor mounts. The shifter moves up to 2 inches to the right on takeoffs. That clunk I described sounds like it is under the shifter too. Could it be wheel bearings? I need more ideas on what to look for.
I have the same clunking noise but it only happens when I'm going really slow and I pump the brakes with hard pressure. I can feel and hear it somewhere around the shifter. It started doing it after my stock torque arm broke. Anybody have any ideas? - Pat
