Strange Gears?
Strange Gears? I have a 98 ss m6 and am going to put 4:10's in it. I am trying to figure out which gears would be the strongest. I have searched to see what every thinks about strange gears but really havent found anything. Let me know what you guys think about these. I really dont care about noise seeing how my rearend is about to go and hums when going down the road.

Re: Strange Gears? I have had Strange gears for several years with no problems. Several other local guys have also had good luck with Strange gears (local speed shop carries them). I haven't used any other brands, but these are quiet and seem to be pretty durable.

Re: Strange Gears? Richmond gears are probably as strong as any but are reputed to be noisey. If you install gears that are known to be quiet then their quietness provides assurance that the gears are installed properly. The strongest gears, if improperly installed, will fail.
