Default TQ Management

Next week im getting a VIG3200 stall converter put in on my 2000Z28 next week. I was wanting to know about the Torque Management system, Ive heard that it gives you problems and hurts performance on the bottom end? Is that true? What do people do to it to do away with it or does anything need to be done? Suggestions Please

Default Re: TQ Management

torque mgmt reduces power on upshifts to reduce the stress on the tranny clutches during WOT shifts.

It is curable through a change in tuning. A lot of info in our Computer forum on this.
