Nine inch rear? I checked the sponsors and, apparently, no one sells the Ford rears for replacing the weak F-body 10 bolts ..
...do the modern 12 bolt GM rears still have C-clips that are prone to break and allow the axles to go their separate ways???
..what is the easiest way to tell if you have a 3 or 4 cable 10 bolt diff?

Re: Nine inch rear? moser offers a 9" and a 12 bolt. There is also a strange 12 bolt.
The 9" has pressed on bearings, and the moser has the pressed on bearings or C-Clips. Strange is also pressed on bearings. I talked with the guys at thunder racing and tbyrne, and both stated that they have never sold a 12 bolt with the c-clips... the thunder racing guy didn't even know they offered it... but its on their web page.
I believe 4 cable is when you have an abs sensor attached to each backing plate near the rear tires(so 1 on each side).
