Differential ?
Well, I did it twice with 10 bolt torsens. They just cant take modified LS1's, and powershifting is just the last straw. My first dif, I blew out two bolt heads and cracked the dif. side cap racing a 600 honda. The second, I was just ******* around and powershifted @ 5800 and popped another bolt head. Shot the bastard out of the case and left a 1/2 mile trail of gear lube on the street. You may as well slap your ***** with a board before you rebuild a 10 bolt. You'll get more satisfaction that way.

rear end worries Well you could try some better bolts from the after market and caps too. But make sure your not overtightening the bolts they will snap easier if you do. Specific torque for those bolts to stretch and grip the threads to keep them tight. What are you tightening them to? Also try a Aluminum support cover that might help some. The last thing to be sure of is your backlash set good and tight if your gonna be torturing the rear. about .005 is about as tight as you can go with anykind of street driving. Tighter and you will burn the gears up when they heat and swell (normal driving) they will end up too tight. That is about all you can do besides upgrading to a larger 12 bolt housing. Which we build using Moser housings. Jim
