Default Need Help FAST!

ok im swapping rear ends on my car, one of them is an LT1 rear end. (the one that im putting on)

the one on my car is an ls1 rear end. and has longer wheel studs. what i wanted to do is put my brakes on the lt1 rear end and axel aswell so that i can reuse the ARP wheel studs.. but the backing plates are behind the axel and is unfortunatly in the way, and we never pulled an axel before.

does anybody have any diagram, or anything that can help us, so that we can swap axels? is there much work to it?
also im going to be changing the pinion seal. is there anything special or things that need to be carefully done while changing it??? we were told not to tighten it to much cuz we can mess up the bearing. any advise?

any and all help is greatly appreciated.

but not i have a new problem. i got both rear ends next to each other. im ready to my axels on other rear, and i was looking at the numbers on the gears. my rear end has
12x41 on it then some other numbers and stuff.


the other rear end has 12:41 and some other numbers and stuff.

does this mean they are the same gears????? i sure as hell hope not! also the carriers seem WAY different. the clip that is hold on by 8mm bolt is different. the one on the second rear end is cylender shapped, and the one on my car (12x41) is wierd, and kinda like a rectangle or something.

whats goin on hear? are they different carriers same gears? or did my car really have 273s?

please help asap.

also i just noticed both ring gears look different. and the one rear end that i had bought. rite after it says 12:41 it has abunch of numbers.

and my rear end has 12x41 GMAX 353- B559

well my buddies at lethal performance helpped me figure out what kinda gears where there, and everything. so thanks anyways guys.

i ended up just putting my other rear back on....
