B&M Shift???
I bought my 98 z used. It was a very mushy feeling 3rd shift, caught up a lot. When I speed shifted 3rd it only got in gear every other try. When I power shifted I missed every time, needless to say I quit trying.
Anyway, I decided to see if it was a bad driver mod and let a more experienced f-bud give it a shot and he had the same problem. So I decided to get a Pro 5.0. When I pulled the counsole apart there was a blue b&m ripper staring me in the face. In my opinion the b&m is junk (for the t-56 anyway). The pro 5.0 is very solid unit with a very firm notchy feel. I have never missed 3rd since I've had it!!
P.S. The b&m would also catch up on the 4th shift on me too.
