12 bolt vs 9"
12 bolt vs 9" at what point do u need to goto a 9" w/ 35spline axles over a 12 bolt with 33 and HD Eaton Posi?
Right now Im Cam only car with all the bolt ons and running 150 shot.
So far Ive gone 10.745s with the stock 10bolt, gonna try a 200 out on it.
Eventually the car will be a 382 and Tbrake

Re: 12 bolt vs 9" I just sold my moser 12 bolt to do IMHO the best rear out, the Billingsley 9" with the fab housing, aluminum center section, 40 spline gun drilled axles, spool, 5/8 studs.

Eaton posi is the weak link in the 12bolts, but if you can stand a spool then go for the 12bolt.

Re: 12 bolt vs 9" I have launched at 4000-4500 rpms on the TB with my Strange 12 BOLT 33 splines with no problem, 9" just adds more weight IMO. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> (NO SPOOL HERE)
