Default 4.10 gears

So I'm thinking about going with some 4.10s and an Eaton posi... I'd like to just buy a 12 bolt with 4.30s but dont really have the money right now. If I go with 4.10s, how long would you guys expect the 10 bolt to last with around 370hp on the ground? This car will see some track time, but not a lot... I'm prolly going to go to some stronger axles as well... I'm wantin 4.10s cuz this thing bogs pretty bad out of the hole with the 3.42s. So far with the cam swap, my ETs have been less than stellar and the cause is the launch. Just wanting to know if strengthening up the 10 bolt a little is worth it, at least until I can afford a 12 bolt. Thanks guys!

IMO wait and do a 12 Bolt. No point in putting money down the drain for a few passes before the 10 bolt breaks. You will need a 12 bolt anyway. Be patient and do it the right way the first time.

If you are not doing hard launches, or running DR or slicks you should be okay. Anything is breakable. So be aware the diff even with the upgrades is not bullet proof. Especially with a M6. Let me know if we can help you out.
