Gear Recomendation? Hello everyone. I currently have a 12bolt in my car w/spool and 4:10 gears. The car is a 95z28 w/a old school solid roller 5xxci BBC ,Th-400 w/brake,5500 stall and 29.5x10.5 et drags. I had the motor built with plans for a 200-300hp shot of n20. I have not yet put a kit on the car,but will in the next month or so. I have only made about 12 to 15 passes on the motor and tach about 6200-6500 rpm through the traps(best pass so far 9.69@143mph/1.39 60'.I know i'll have too much gear for the gas,and was thinking about swapping to 3:73's,but the only gears i have found in that ratio for a 4series carrier are moser's "street" set. I'm kind of leary
about those at that kind of power level.Anyone make a 3:73 competition gear set for a 12 bolt w/4 series carrier?
