9" build questions
9" build questions sup yalls. workin on my 98 trans am with a rearmount turbo system. my questions i have
1. is there anyway to keep the 10bolt backing plates and used them on my 9" so i can use the factory calipers?
2. its a narrowed rear end. and i need to order axles. im borrowing a jug to set in the housing. where do i need to measure to get the right lengths for my axles?
3. if i can use the backing plates from the 10bolt is there anything different i need to tell whoever i get my axles from?
4. any info i need to put up here let me know and when i get home ill take pics/measurements/ or check.

Yes you can resuse the backing plates. If you have a Moser housing, they actually expect you too.
As far as the AXLE length, if you knwo how much it is narrowed, you can call Moser and tell them how much it is narrowed and they will cut the correct length axles.
