RAM 980 I'm ordering a ram clutch for my car due to a few recommendations in previous posts. I am ordering the 402 PP from Summit. However, I was told that I should get the organic 980 disc as it was designed for a stock resurfaced/replaced flywheel. I did not see this on Summits page, and only saw this disc offered in a kit from futral motorsports. Can I buy this clutch seperate from the whole VDS system on futralmotorsports. If so, where at? A member of the board is working on my ls6 master cylinder for me. I will also be performing the drill mod. Any experience with the 402/980 setup as far as chatter goes, or pedal pressure? I would think that being designed for the stock flywheel it must not be that extreme and would probably be very daily drivable in both areas. I'm sorta in a hurry to get my baby back on the road.. So any help A.S.A.P. would be appreciated, because I'd like to order it monday! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: RAM 980 Summit does not stock the 980 disc. If you type in RAM-980 in the part # box it will list it with price as being on B/O. I would call Futal or Rapid and see if they stock the 980.
I have the 402/980 setup and I'm very happy with it. It does chatter at times if you don't rev the engine a little on take off. Pedal pressure is a lot more than stock.

The disc has a sticker in the middle that says the clutch warranty is voided if you don't use the ram flywheel. If had known that it would cause a problem I would have ordered the 900 sintered, or 6130. Any comments? Is this something I should be worried about? Or should I just go ahead and re-surface my stock flywheel and run with it.
