High STR ?
What would be perfect for you is Yank TT3000 3.0 STR. Unforunately I don't think they sell it anymore. I'd call mike @ rapidmotorsports and have him get you a TCS with a 2800 or 3000 stall and a 2.5 to 3.0 STR.
Vig 2800 is popular with 2.73 guys too.
BTW, the SLP 2600 will cure the off-the-line blues with 2.73 gears and it is inexpensive too. Feels almost like stock. The downside is that it wont cure the dead spots on your upshifts the way a good 2800 - 3000 stall will.
I'm flip-flopping between doing gears or TC first. I do alot of stop & go city driving. I get about 11-12 mpg with my 2.73 gears. I want to increase my torque multiplication to make city driving snappier. If a high STR converter w/relatively low stall (2400) can do the job that 3.73 gears can, I might go with that.
