Paranoid or something to be thinking about?

Paranoid or something to be thinking about? Ok it seems that every time I go out in my car I am always thinking my rear end is going to blow. I have heard so many horror stories about these things its like I don't want to rip on it. I have the mods below in my sig. Do I have anything to worry about?
If you dont race it every weekend and stay on street tires, I think you will be OK for awhile, but thats no promise. I wouldn`t worry about it. If you plan on keeping the car long term, I would just add a 12 bolt or 9`` to my plans.

rear IMO you should be ok even with drag racing once in awhile. a six speed is harder on the rear than an auto, but dropping the clutch at five grand is not good for them. ten bolts can't take the shock or abuse some people give them. i drag with an auto and drag radials but i have a LT-1 .it's stock with a built 4l60-e trans and i sometimes worry about loosing my 10 bolt, but with stock hp and an auto, it can live a long while i would think. i drag about six -seven times a season with no problems. depends how much your going to beat on it....they should haave put 12 bolts in these cars at the factory...RON
