Default Stock Master Cylinder issue, hard to shift.

Hey Guys, as some of you might have seen in my other thread, the McLeod adjustable M/C wasn't cutting it. So while I'm sending my McLeod back for repairs, I have the stock M/C back in.

The stocker has a lighter feeling pedal and is very consistant(a problem I had with the McLeod). Normal driving is really nice with the Stocker. However WOT runs are not so good. It goes into gear and doesn't grind, but I have to muscle it in. It like hits a wall and I have to keep pushing and it eventually falls into gear. But it does this with every gear and only when I'm running her hard.

Why is this happeneing? Is it because the stocker is not adjustable? I don't have any shims in the bell housing. I really don't want to go the shim route. If needs be, I'll just make my stock M/C adjustable. But I'd like to hear you all's thoughts and see if altering the rod will fix my problem.

Thanks guys,
Mike

Mike, you are not totally disengaging the clutch at WOT with the stock m/c. This is what is causing it to be hard to shift into to the gear.

Making the stock m/c adjustable may help some, but I really don't think it will cure the problem 100%.

making my stock master adjustable really helped a lot, and there is no reason why an adjustable stock wont work as well or better than the mcleod.

after all, im pretty sure the cartek and ram masters are modified stockers themselves.
