is anyone ever going to make an aluminum housing for a 12-bolt?...that would be a good way to save weight imo. how about moser or strange, anyone ever ask them about an aluminum housing like the vette has had for a long time now?

just a fyi, i emailed moser and they said they have no plans at this time to offer an aluminum 12 bolt. but i hope one day they make one...however, he did say that it would prolly be pretty expensive...

 

personally i dont think it would last. Aluminum doesn't bend, it cracks. You'd need some pretty thick *** aluminum

Remember that vettes are IRS and dont have a solid axle setup.
