trans fluid level question

trans fluid level question I checked the fluid level this weekend and the level was right on the hash between the cold and warm marks. The temp of the fluid reported by auto tap was 165. Is this the correct place or should it be at the hot marks.
Re: trans fluid level question Just take the car around the block a few times to warm the tranny up then park the car with it in neutral to check the fluid level. The tranny fluid should be in the Hot hash mark. I run mine to the top hole cut in the hot hash because in the lower hot hash marker the car will tend to drag on the shifts at WOT when you drive around awhile.
