10-bolt + nitrous from a roll, safe??
10-bolt + nitrous from a roll, safe?? I've been against getting nitrous due to need of getting a new rear, which I can't really afford right now. Just rode in my buddies A4 Z28 with nitrous and now I'm more interested. I know from a dead stop, I'll blow the rear if I spray, so that's not even an option. But can a 10-bolt take it from a roll? I'm guessing I probably wouldn't spray until 2nd. Probably be between 100-125 shot. Is this borderline to 10-bolt survival, or would I be fairly safe doing this?? Also, I have pretty much all bolt ons to include a T1 cam.
Re: 10-bolt + nitrous from a roll, safe?? From a roll you should be fine. A friend of mine sprayed his TA all the time from a roll and it held up. Now if you add some stickies into the equation you might be asking for trouble down the road.

Re: 10-bolt + nitrous from a roll, safe?? I think it depends on what kind of tires you are going to be running, if you are running street tires, it would take a lot to blow out the rear end. Even nittos will take a little bit. It all depends on how hard you are. I am gonna find out real soon how long my stock rear end will last. Cause I am probably going to be around 420 rwhp, after next weekend....

Re: 10-bolt + nitrous from a roll, safe?? One of my good friends has an automatic 01 SS with the stock 10 bolt...He has a 3600 stall, 100 shot, and drag radials running 11.8's and no problems. He always sprays from a roll though in 2nd and up.
