Default Narrowed 9" with 325/50's...

I have searched and found some info but exaxtly what I was looking for.
I am narrowing my 9" by 5" (2.5 per side) and am going to run a 15x10 with 5.5 BS (to pull the wheel/tire in a little) and 325 MT's.Also chnging over to rear coilovers. Does anyone else run this combo and did you have any issues? Thanks.

Stock wheel backspacing is 7.5" and with 325/50R15's you need to pound in the inside of the wheelwell slightly in several areas to prevent it from rubbing. I went with 6.5" backspacing and had my rear narrowed one inch. This kept the wheel in the oem location, and we had to pound in the inside wheelwell just the same, as we new we would.
It looks like you are going to be into the inside wheelwell an additional .5 on each side with what you are proposing to do. Bob

I've been running 325 MT's on both cars(lowered 1") with a 15x10 with 7.5BS with no issues. Just looking to "tuck" the tire and since I was cutting the rearend and putting on rear coilovers,I was going to move them in a little. Heres how it sits now.

It's good to see they fit your car without any clearancing, we had to take a persuader to mine. lol
Since you have the clearance then it looks like moving it in .5 shouldn't be a problem for you. Bob

I just finished Mini-tubbing my 02 SS and have narrowed the rear 3"s per side. The Only
other issue we came across was that we were hitting the LCAs and had to swap them
out with an Offset pair. The 325/50/15's on 15x10 Rims needed a 5.5" Back Spacing and
YES, they Tuck up Great!

Thanks for the info. Just put the new rear in(Moser 9",35 spline w/locker, aluminum center sect.narrowed 4.5" total) went with Qa1's all the way around and coilovers up front,BMR adjustable, control arms, panhard rod and reloc. brackets also(already had everything else). My Bogarts will be in next week,so had to stick some draglites on til then! They are 15x10 with 5.5BS and 325/50's(still have the 1/4 spacer that will be gone with the Bogarts).
