gear swapping question

gear swapping question ok, so i hit up the stickies and did a search but couldn't find an answer to this question, is there a difference in the gears between trac control cars and non trac control cars, i ask this because i have a friend with an auto with tc and he wants my 3.42's from my car when i buy 3.90's, will using my gears from my non tc car work in his tc car? thanks!
I don't think there is any dif in the gears. You need to make sure he has a 3 series carrier though. Maybe check Summit or something and see if they are the same part number...

yeah his car is a 3.23, he just doesnt have a lot of money so i was gonna give'em to him, we all know it isnt much of a performance upgrade but he will be happy
