Default Shifter handle thread size

Anyone know what the thread size is? I want to preserve my Hurst Billet plus handle with the Hurst logo but cut the handle 1"

Default Re: Shifter handle thread size

The thread on a stock 6 speed shifter (or a B&M Ripper, or a Hurst replacement shifter...hurst also does a shifter for a 6 speed that uses a non metric thread....but you have to go look to find that one) is metric and is a M16x1.50 thread. Good luck.
