Default weight saving by going with a spool

Does anyone know how much weight I will save by installing a spool in my Moser 12 bolt.. Right now I have the eaton in there

ATLEAST 15lbs of rotating weight. Can't recall exactly right now, but have it somewhere. The spool doesn't bother me at all daily driving either.

what exactly is a spool? excuse the ignorance. is it something that can be drivin daily? can it be done in a 10 bolt? thanks

it locks both rear axles together. so there is no posi unit. it's tough on turns because both wheels was to spin at the same speed in a turn. Yes they do make them for the 10 bolt but with the weak axles it's not worth doing..
