stall with gears

i want to upgrade my 2.73's in my 94 a4 fomula, but i don't want to put a stall in my car just yet. i was looking at 3.42's, but recently i have also considered 3.73's due to how much they have been praised. am i going to need to get a stall if i go with the 3.73's, or can i do it with out one?

You will be fine running 3:73's without a stall. You can always run a stall at a later time.

My car was originally a 2.73 car and I have no regrets going with 3.42!

3.73s are great i went to them...no problem and you can still do 140 something lol...
