Default Which 12 bolt to go with??

Ive heard that the Mosers are going to $hit, and that lots of people are recommending the Strange 12 bolts. Do the Strange 12 bolts come direct bolt up? How good does Strange install the gears? Meaning that pre-installed Moser 12 bolts are really noisy due to poor installation on the gears. How many of you guys recommend Strange over Moser? Who else makes 12 bolts for f-bodies? Im just asking because I want to make sure that I buy the right 12 bolt before I hand over $2300! Thanks

I've done alot of resurch on 12 bolts and i will be ordering mine in a week or two i am going with strange but i'm going threw a guy who builds all the housings for strange long story how i got his name and number i'm saving about 200 bucks but im upgrading on the posi unit so i'm only saving 100 dollars. down sides going my route a little pricy but i'll pay the diffrance for quality. and it doen't have the reluctor rings on the axles but i'm using my old ones.the plus side is he doe's nice work. if you like to talk to him i would email you his name and number FYI my rearend is costing me 2460.00 i know i could get a moser a litte cheaper but to many negitives they sound like there hit and miss. maybe i could get a better price for two if you went this route <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

I ordered one through Randy's ring and pinion. 12 bolt with eaton posi and set up for abs and traction control and 4.10 gears . It cost me $2,155.00 shipped to my door and with a 5 year warrenty. It comes with 30 spline forged axels and a1350 forged yoke. I will post when it comes in on the quality.

Another 12-bolt to consider is DTS Drivetrain Specialists. Uses Moser Axles, Timken Tapered bearings. Very strong and very quiet. I do not have this 12-bolt. I am looking at DTS and Strange.

A guy from Powerhouse Performance has a DTS and likes it alot. Very hight quality parts.

I know Harlan uses a DTS 12-bolt and he puts a ton of power through his. He said its a very nice piece. I think they cost a little more than Strange (but don't quote me on that).

Here is their site, but you are probably better off calling them.
