Tranny problems **Update** Well the problem is not electrical. Thanks to Jayson and Mike at MTI for all the trouble shooting they did. We tried draining the pan and adding 4 quarts of Type F fluid and that did not help. The car is back at my tranny guy and he said the line pressure is all over the place at start up. After the car runs for about 20 minutes it settles out. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> My tranny guy is taking everything apart( 3rd time) and is going to change the pump. I wish something would show up so he could fix it and I can enjoy my some what new (Installed Oct. 02) setup.

Re: Tranny problems **Update** I know what your problem is and I know how to fix it, but I've got to have reliable information.Changing the pump/ with the information you have provided is a pure waste of time/ and money.Ask your tranny guy what controls line pressure? also ask him if he replaced the piviot pin in the pump/ ask if he has installed H.D. slider spring , ask if he added any big holes with his drill? ask if he disconnected the tranny and got the high line values(default/limp in) without real numbers(line rise) it's harder than hell to work these units. saying it's all over the place and it settles down after a while means absolutely nothing. This may be why your tranny isn't working after 5 months. These units are sophisticated,electrical,mechanical,hydralic,compu ter controlled units, with a very stringent balance, gone are the days of springs and valves. I'd say it was time for some very stright talk with your tranny guy. Hope this helps.
