stock rearend help
stock rearend help i noticed my rear diff. is leaking fluid (a few drops on the drive way)...ive never had it serviced before (bought the car used with 46k on it, it now has 71k) well i wanted to top it off just to make sure i keep the rearend full... my Q is how do i get the fluid in there?? where is the filler plug? i know that theres an additive that needs to be put it when doing a fluid change, but will i also need to add it just to top the rear diff. off?? and what type of fluid do i need??

Rear Fluid If your going to get under there, you might as well pull the cover, change the fluid, and clean off the gasket. Replace with a new gasket and silicone it. I have done this to my car 3 times and it has never leaked.
Hopefully my fluid change will take care of it cause my fluid is very very old in there. found this write up..are the steps the same for 99 and up f bodys?? i noticed they used a 96 ss..
