hurst billet plus Anyone who has a hurst billet plus, I need your help. I bought what I THOUGHT was a hurst billet plus shifter from a guy. I've felt this shifter in a friend's car and it does not even feel close to the one I bought. It does have the two set screws to adjust the stops but the stick is awfully long and it feels like the pivot point is different. You know if there is a serial number or anything I can look for to tell? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: hurst billet plus Thanks Joe. I pulled the stock hurst out of my car and it also has a gold base, but I know it's not a billet plus. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> Any other way to tell?
Re: hurst billet plus Here is what the Hurst Billet Plus should look like except the one for the F-body doesn't have the backward bend in the stick like the one in this picture.

It could be that your friend had a short stick on his which is why it felt different.
