Default LG torque arm problem...

well, i finally got around to installing my torque arm, but i got a question, and one big problem... first off, is it just me, or are their directions way off...it says to install the torque arm before you install their new tranny mount, but there was no way that that tranny mount was goin on when the torque arm was on, so i just took the TA off, and put the mount on first and it worked...am i missing something here, or did i do it the right way and were the directions wrong?...ok, now here is my problem...it says to use all the stock bolts for everything, so everything is good except the freekin bolt on rearend closest to back of car...the nut is 22mm, and it has a spring washer on it, and this is the stock bolt, and it is too dang wide to fit , there is no room for it on the TA...lemme explain better...at the furthest back point on the TA, there is like an _1 bracket...pickure that like an L i guess....and the bolt hold comes out right next to that, and the washer doesnt come close to fitting in, and i dont even think that when my dad narrow's it at the shop that it will fit, cause i dont think a socket will fit inbetweeen the bolt and L brace for the torque wrench...anybody have any clues here, this TA cost a ton of money, and im not too happy right now... if someone could help me out, or tell me if somehtin is wrong or tell me anything for that matter, lol, i would be super happy...Thanks!

Grind the nut washer to clear.Install front mount first, slide TA through and tighten on rear.
If this is really ticking you off, luckily you don't have a 12 bolt and have to grind the TA.It's not hard to make this fit.

hey, thanks for the info man...its not that it really ticks me off, its just that i wish they had said i had to do it in the directions, i am not a fan of unsuspected suprises when installing high price parts, lol...i called LG, and some tech guy said teh same thing, and the part i was worried about w/ what to torque it to, he said dont worry, just to use a box wrench and it will be ok...yea, i heard about 12-bolt problem, but i wont be mad about that cause i know what i have to do already also, where in mass are u from...do u ever go to any car shows around, i would like to see your car, i heard u have ls6 heads and cam package...must be a sweet ride!
