SLP gear calibration unit???

SLP gear calibration unit??? hope this is the right place for this. Anyway anybody heard of this thing. I thought I saw it once before. all it lets you do is just change the gear ratio.

Re: SLP gear calibration unit??? I think it was around $180(dont' really remember it was a while ago). And yes it was very easy to install. I believe it was just 4 grounds and a couple splices and that's it

Re: SLP gear calibration unit??? I installed a similar one about two years ago and it has worked perfectly. It was sold by a fellow named Ira from his website www.camaroelectronics.com. I think he sold his design to one of the major aftermarket companies and longer markets them himself.
His version, though, was better in my opinion. It is easy to re-program any time you do a gear swap or change tire sizes. My favorite feature is an optional toggle switch that let’s you quickly switch back and forth between two ratios – great if you have two sets of tires for the back that aren’t the same size.

Re: SLP gear calibration unit??? Dynamic Motorsports (DMS) has a device that does the same thing for $100- the Granatelli Granspeedo. The Camaro Electronics guy doesn't make them anymore.
